Year 8 Henfold Lakes Trip

Our Year 8 students enjoyed an unforgettable—and very muddy—day at Henfold Lakes, where they took on the thrilling mud Assault Course run by Camelot Events. Featuring more than 40 demanding obstacles, including tunnels, cargo nets, tyres, swamps, and water dippers, the course challenged students’ endurance, bravery, and teamwork at every turn.

Throughout the day, our students demonstrated remarkable determination and resilience, tackling each obstacle with enthusiasm and refusing to be discouraged by the challenges they faced. What stood out even more was the incredible support they showed one another, offering encouragement, helping hands, and motivation to ensure everyone could succeed.

The experience provided a fantastic opportunity for students to develop trust, strengthen friendships, and build new connections. By working together to overcome obstacles and celebrating each other’s achievements, they created lasting memories and valuable life skills.

We are extremely proud of the way Year 8 represented the school. Their positive attitude, perseverance, and teamwork reflected our school values perfectly and made the trip an outstanding success. Well done year 8.
