Sunbury Manor is a diverse and progressive school with a welcoming, supportive community. Throughout my time here, I have always been encouraged to achieve both academic excellence and personal growth. I have watched our community grow and have been fortunate to be a part of it and experience Sunbury Manor’s amazing opportunities. This is why I am so pleased to take on the responsibility of Head Student and to be able to lead the student body. Every day, Sunbury Manor’s key values are promoted and shown, especially responsibility. Our school pushes students to prosper and exceed their own expectations and this is done by empowering students to take responsibility for their own success and motivating them to take collective responsibility to ensure our school truly thrives. What makes Sunbury Manor unique isn’t just the academic aspect, but its commitment to balancing experience and academic success with an environment where students can still have fun, allowing them to develop into the very best versions of themselves.

Sunbury Manor is such an inviting school, filled with amazing students who have a wide range of interests and talents. There are numerous extracurricular activities to support them, from sports competitions to chess club, giving everyone opportunities to try new things, develop skills and make new friends. The school values everyone, regardless of their background, and encourages kindness, respect, responsibility and commitment. From my personal experiences, Sunbury Manor has provided me with many incredible opportunities and created a safe and enjoyable environment that has enabled me to succeed. There truly is something for everyone here, and I am very grateful to belong to such a wonderful community.

What makes Sunbury Manor such a great school is the wide range of opportunities available to students, whether that is through after-school clubs, lunch time activities or days of enrichment. During my time here, I have been able to get involved in a variety of aspects of school life, including taking on the role of Deputy Head Student, and being a part of the school council. Sunbury Manor is a school that encourages students to challenge themselves, get involved, and make the most of every opportunity, and that is what has made my experience here so special. Sunbury Manor is a diverse, all-encompassing school that has improved a lot over the last few years. Throughout my time at Sunbury Manor, I have always pushed myself to the best of my abilities and always put maximum effort into anything that I do. The teaching staff at our school are supportive and hardworking, always doing the best they can to give support to each one of our students. The student council is a way to allow students to have their voices heard by proposing new opportunities and events for the school and being a way to voice their concerns if they need to. Sunbury Manor’s five key school values help to promote commitment, kindness, community, respect and responsibility in everything we do, strengthening ourselves as one whole community.
